The Sophisticated Cat, founded in 2005, is a small, family owned and operated business based in Chicago, Illinois. Starting out as a online retail store only, we began noticing that it can be difficult finding quality, trendy items for felines. We decided to expand our business and offer what we have been looking for. We are dedicated to creating and offering quality hand-crafted accessories for the most discriminating felines and their owners in unique and colorful designs at affordable prices. All of our products are handcrafted in the USA.

We have been pet owners for many years and have two wonderful cats, Sahara & Ivy. Additionally, The Sophisticated Cat contributes to local animal rescues and other non-profit organizations dedicated to the wellness of animals.
