Measuring for Kitty Collars
It is important to measure your pet to get the best fit collar! You can do this by using a standard measuring tape. Measure your pet’s neck where you feel the collar should rest. Do not measure too tightly. Another alternative is to take a piece of string and place it around your pet’s neck where the collar should lay. Then measure the length of the string with a ruler or measuring tape. A pet’s collar should never be too tight against the skin, so place two fingers under the measuring device to make sure the collar is loose enough for comfort, but not too loose to slip off. Just a few minutes to take an accurate measurement will help ensure that you will be pleased with your pet’s new collar!
Construction & Care
All of our cat collars and harnesses are made with durable nylon webbing and strong plastic break-away side releases, nickel sliders and removable liberty bells. Our break-away collars should NEVER be used with a leash. For use with a leash, we recommend purchasing our kitty harness (available soon), as they come with a d-ring suitable for a leash. While our collars are very durable, it is important that you periodically check the collar for signs of wear. We cannot guarantee our products against excessive pulling, chewing, or scratching. Each consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of these products for their individual situation.
